Background

Khai-Kwam is traditional recipe of local people in Northern Thailand. Using duck eggs is highly recommended as the larger size than chicken eggs and the shells are harder to crack. It will make your dish look more appetizing.

Ingredients

3 duck eggs

2 chicken eggs

200 grams minced pork

1 teaspoon sugar

1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped

1 teaspoon grounded pepper

½ tablespoon coriander, thinly sliced

½ tablespoon spring onion, thinly sliced

½ teaspoon salt

Pad Sataw Moo Goong (Stir-fried pork and prawns with bitter bean)

  Pad Sataw Moo Goong is a southern fast food and favorite dish of people. Stir-fried prawns and pork with bitter bean in shrimp paste is easy to cook but has an excellent taste.   Nutrition facts Sataw (bitter bean) grows well in the South. They have a strong smell. 100 grams of bitter bean give energy to body 130 kcal., and provide 8 grams of protein, 15.5 grams of carbohydrate, 76 milligrams of calcium and 83 milligrams of phosphorus   Ingredients 300 grams sliced pork 300 grams prawns ½ cup bitter bean 2 tbsp. cooking oil 1 tbsp. shrimp paste 10 grams garlic cloves 40 grams shallots 2 tsp. fish sauce ½ salt 1 Chee fah chili, sliced

KaengKradang (Jelly Pork Curry)

Background KaengKradang or Kaeng Mu Kradang is usually cooked with pig’s leg which makes the curry thick and jelly. KaengKradang has two recipes: Chiang Mai’s and Chiang Rai’s. Chiang Rai’s menu is cooked by adding the chili paste while boiling the pig’s leg.   Nutrition Facts Pig’s leg contains necessity protein for the body. Khao-Nieow-Namkati-Turian (Sweet sticky rice with durian )

Background Khanom-nam-kati is local Thai dessert that has coconut milk mix with palm sugar by its unique odor and smoothly sweet. Whenever we combine palm sugar with coconut milk sweet , sweet black sticky rice, crunchy ice and sweetened fruits like durian, it will become really delicious and tasty.   Nutrition facts One of its own kinds, durian fruit is delicious, soft and very popular for its unique characteristics.
