Background

PhrikNoom means the green chili. Nam PhrikNoom is the thick chili paste, a famous Northern Thai or Lanna food. A menu not to be missed and mostly eaten with crispy pork rind and fresh vegetables.

Green chili contains Capsaicin, help to lower blood sugar. It also helps in the treatment of diabetes, reducing cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

Background Lieng or Melindjo, a local tree of the South is 1-2 meters tall and has long leaves. Its young leaves are cooked in different dishes.
